The online only class schedule is great — Sep 10, 2009

The online only class schedule is great. The classes are relatively short, 8 weeks, and you have an entire week to accomplish your assignments. You can go at your own pace, so it is great for people who are working or have a family. This is a great program for people who are very busy and think they have no time. The price is very reasonable, I am paying much less than I would at any of the three state universities where I live and Grand Canyon University gives you the option of going to school online. The teachers are very knowledgeable and understanding. It has been an overall great experience and I am glad I have done this. One weakness is the advisement staff is untimely with responses, I don't get the interaction with them unless I constantly bug them.
Love it other than trying to reach someone — Sep 10, 2009

I love it (other than trying to get in touch with someone). A lot of the classes have gone to Ebooks which I love and don't have to spend $300 for a book we never open. It's flexible and I have learned a lot. It's hard to get the financial aid office to call or return emails.

You need to have good time management, determine what time of day you can function the best for learning, be enthusiastic about learning so that you will get the most out of your education and materials.
